Benitachell Town Hall takes pride that its services are available to all residents and property owners in the municipality, regardless of nationality. Because this is a small town, we are unable to offer some of the services available in larger Town Halls, but we try to compensate for this by making our service very personal.

Obviously all forms must be completed and publications issued, by law, in one of the official languages of the village, Castellano (Spanish) or Valenciano but, where possible, one of the English speaking staff or Councillors will assist non Spanish speaking residents with advice and information.

Guillermo Pragt is available for consultation in the Town Hall every Thursday and Friday between 9am and 1pm. He speaks five languages, including English, German and Dutch.

Karin Mas Mut also speaks several languages, including English French and Valenciano, and is normally available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, between 9am and 2pm.

We do ask, however, that residents assist us by ensuring that they are listed on the "Padron" which is the area census, through which police, medical and other resources are allocated by the government and which sets the level of grants paid to us.
