TALKS: PREVENTION OF DRUG ADDICTION
The Department of Social Services has organized, for 2011, a drug prevention programme, aimed at parents of pupils of Santa Maria Magdalena School and the IES Teulada, and others who want to participate. The meetings are open everyone.

Public Library, English books.
The Public Library will soon start lending English books. For this reason they are asking for the following help:
-Donations of English books and/or encyclopaedias which are in good condition.
-Volunteers to help with organizing their loan.

RED PALM WEEVIL
Following information received from the Councillor for the Environment: With the current incidence of the plague of red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, Oliver)
on the palms in the municipality of Benitachell, both public and private; and the danger it entails with the presence of red palm weevil for the survival of palms.
