Health and safety instructions for visitors to the Benitachell ECOPARK

1. Under no circumstances may you pass the barrier mounted on the curbs surrounding the containers, due to the risk of falling, as the containers are situated on a lower level.
2. Instructions given by the designated controller of the ECO PARK must be obeyed at all times.
3. Access inside the containers is strictly prohibited.
4. It is strictly forbidden to remove objects from within the containers
5. Handling of waste is strictly forbidden especially in the area of hazardous waste.
6. It is strictly forbidden to contribute any waste not included in the authorised list of acceptable waste.
7. Access is strictly forbidden within the storage area of hazardous waste.
8. It is strictly forbidden to enter the safety radius of trucks and machinery that are in operation.
9. In case of emergency, follow the instructions of staff at the ECOPARK, evacuating the site if necessary.

The ECO PARK is situated in Cami del La Torre (off of Crta. Assegador, the northerly entrance to Cumbre del Sol). Here you must deposit your GARDEN WASTE, COOKING OILS, CAR BATTERIES, COMPUTERS, TELEVISIONS, PAINT TINS and other recyclable items.

We have a collection service every Thursday (except holidays) for large items such as fridges, sofas, beds, and other furniture. This is a service 'to order'. You telephone 638 411 790 before 12.00 hours on Wednesday, for collection that week. You only have to leave your full address and, if possible, list the items to be collected.

Recycling

Recycling Containers for PLASTICS, PAPER, GLASS and CLOTHING are strategically placed throughout Benitachell. These are emptied on average 1.7 times per week. As the amount of recycling increases, we have prepared a schedule to increase the collections to twice a week.
