TALKS: PREVENTION OF DRUG ADDICTION The Department of Social Services has organized, for 2011, a drug prevention programme, aimed at parents of pupils of Santa Maria Magdalena School and the IES Teulada, and others who want to participate. The meetings are open everyone. There will be 6 sessions, held once a month from May to December 2011. The first will be between 19.00 to 20.00 hours, in the Social Centre. The following topics will be covered: - Basic concepts of drug dependency. - Adolescence as a stage of crisis. - Assertive Communication - Troubleshooting - How are they?: Needs attention, respect ... - Performance of children: rules, limits and consequences The sessions are participatory and people can interact with the monitor with any inquiry and can be referred to the department of social services. For the period from February to August 2011 inclusive: - priority in the allocation of space: up to 15 January 2011 For the months of September to December 2011 inclusive: - priority in the allocation of space: until May 15, 2011 or for inclusion in the Waiting List of Places: until October 31, 2011.
